Since my mother tought me the basics of knitting many years ago, I almost never put the needles aside. Most, I have taught myself and always considered new patterns or complicated stitches as a new challenge. I love to see how a work grows stitch by stitch.
Since a few years I create patterns. I love to let my creativity flow and see how it tuns into a physical shawl, scarf or whatever.
Besides knitting and crocheting, I love photography, although it is at the moment a little in the background - due to time .
A good book I can rarely go past, I love reading thriller or crime stories.
Of course my husband and my dog Flocke are my other great loves.
