I have always been creative and enjoy the challenges of creating something using my own skills. I love sewing , knitting and baking cakes. I find it very therapeutic to make anything by hand. I wouldn't describe myself an expert in any of the hand crafts that I attempt and I have to be in the right frame of mind to start and eventually complete them. I always have knitting ongoing and am Currently knitting for my youngest grandson and one due in August.
My mum taught me to knit as a child and I learnt to sew and bake at school and through trial and error. I love U tube, where i can find and solve all my creative dilemmas.
I am married with two grown children and three grandchildren. Recently retired and finding I have even less time to do my projects.
