I started knitting when I was 16, I used to sit with the other office girls in the morning sun in the front office window before work and we’d knit. I became quite adventurous and ambitious, and particularly loved knitting jumpers with pictures on them when my boys were little. Life became so busy that unfortunately knitting slipped further down my list of priorities. But a couple of years ago my first granddaughter arrived and I have been enthusiastically knitting ever since. I’m getting so much enjoyment out of it, and always looking to the next project.
