I'm learning how to read a pattern and actually having the stitches count i(No pun intended!!) And actually make a long straight piece of yarn become a work of art. I learned how to crochet from my grandma by watching her. My sister in law was teaching me how to combine reading a pattern and crochet together. She noticed I was crocheting in a different style but still accomplishing the same task. We figured it out. I crochet right handed but as a left handed person. I sat in front of my grandma not to the side.
I thought I would share that as I am sure many of us have actually learned that way.
I've made many afgahns and scarves now I'm learning how to make butterflies, doilies and snowflakes.
In the meantime, why not discover what other makers have been up to?
