Hi I'm from Pungarehu,Taranaki, New Zealand. My husband and I own an Agricultural Spray contracting business in rural N.Z. I don't knit a huge amount because of the physical nature of my job but enjoy picking up the needles during winter and especially knitting for my grand children. But have also knitted a lovely cardi for my daughter and several jumpers for my older grandson who is nearly 6. This set is for our new grandson due end of December this year. I learned to knit quite young being taught from my Mother and Nana. I feel it brought me closer to both of them as they were both good knitters.
