I am a disabled U.S Army veteran. I have been crocheting for about 50 years. I became paralyzed (quadriplegic) in 2009. I had to relearn EVERYTHING in new and challenging ways!! I crochet using one hand and one foot. My pieces go to fundraisers for adaptive sports for disabled children / disabled veterans. I also teach crochet where I live... most of my students are just like you and me... Each with his or her own "special" and "unique" needs.
I didn't start "designing " my own pieces until my paralysis 8 yrs. ago. I feel things differently now. These pieces, my art, and vision flourished BECAUSE of my injury.
I just make it up as I go along... Like doodling and coloring with broken crayons, only with pieces of yarn. I have endless ideas with all these strands.
I HAVE YET TO BECOME BAD ASS WITH THIS YARN!!
I DO NOT know how to write a pattern!! PLEASE help me learn to do this! I want to sell my patterns!!
