I learned the basics of knitting way back around 8 or 9 years old casting on (thumb method) and knitting and purling. I never continued because I was too frustrated learning back then and never picked it up again until a couple years ago. I learned this time right handed (I am a lefty) and learned long tail cast on taking on line lessons. I have made lots of different things, but I think my very favorite are socks.
