I just love to crochet and started with size 10 thread and a size 7 hook when I was about 10 1/2 years of age. I found it relaxing and couldn't wait to get some more thread from my Step Grandmother who taught me. I then later taught myself to crochet with yarn around my years in high school. I later taught myself to read and compare stitches and patterns that I had learned over the years. We live out in the country so I like making rugs, doilies, crochet plant hangers, etc. It is so relaxing a hobby.
