I learned to knit about 20 years ago when I lived in the blistering cold of Rhode Island. I did not knit much after I moved south and had children. I just recently started knitting again after happening to vacation in northern Virginia near a knitting store. They carried beautiful Louisa Harding books and yarns. I've found that my favorite things to knit are complex cables. The next thing I want to learn is Fair Isle knitting.
