I was first introduced to knitting when I was a little girl but preferred crochet. I've more recently got into knitting during a long illness - I found it relaxing and enabled me to create things to give as gifts to show my appreciation for the support I received from others. I've been addicted to sock-making, but have moved on to hats. Not sure I've got the staying power for a bigger projects ... yet!
