My Nan, a prolific and wondrous knitter, taught me to knit whilst I was still at Primary School. That way I avoided standing in line during knitting lessons for our patient teacher to unravel the mess of dropped stitches and surprise holes that were a feature of the class’s handiwork!! I learnt to crochet, again with my Nan, whilst home from University and have continued with both since then. I’m now knitting for my four grandchildren and am about to start teaching the girls (the boys just aren’t interested ☹️) to knit. Full circle! Thanks Nan! Wish you were here to see it all! Love you.
