I just recently learned how to crochet while I was visiting my sister. I have so far finished 2 scarfs one beanie hat which didn't look very nice it was the yarn. Now I'm trying to start a shawl but I'm having a hard time understanding the directions which is very frustrating. I live in central wisconsin, i have 5 children, 3 grandchildren, a husband and a boxer dog. I have been disabled since 2014 so crocheting has made a huge difference in my daily life and I have fallen in love with it. I just wish I could understand the patterns better. Also I'm left handed and unfortunately most patterns are for right handed crocheters
