Hi,
My name is Anita. I am married (25 yrs last December) and have 3 children.
I’m a Nurse by trade though I am permanently disabled.
I learned to crochet in kindergarten. (Over 45 yrs ago)
My Mom originally taught me -I made a set of pot holders for my teacher who was getting married & moving to Alaska. My Grandmother taught me more as I got older.
I learned how to knit and basic sewing in High School. My knitting is very basic .
I taught myself embroidery, cross stitch,crewel, candle wicking. I love learning new crafts.
I enjoy watching YouTube crochet, and cooking/baking videos. I learn better by watching a video if I get stuck by reading a written pattern.
I want to make some basic pieces for others ( and myself 😉)
Hope to meet fellow “Hookers” online as I don’t know any who live near me in Central New Jersey.
