The Poncho is a one size poncho but gives options to adjust the circumference and length of the neck as well as length of the body, entirely according to your own taste. It is crocheted in the round and all in one piece from neck to edge.
Many of the rows of this poncho have been crocheted with double strands of different coloured yarns using a 6mm/US: J hook crocheting fairly loose for a supple drape. This made for a warm and fairly thick poncho. You can of course use a different size hook, depending on your choice of yarn. Medium, DK or worsted weight will be a great choice for this poncho. The pattern itself details a complete list of the yarns used in this poncho. The width and height of the turtleneck is a matter of taste and the pattern gives you all possible options, including an option to omit the neck entirely.
