Product Details
This beautiful, fringed shawl was inspired by a 1970s original design that my Nan 'made up as she went along'. The mix of stitch designs and semi-circular shape is perfect for beginners wanting to expand their repertoire in stitches and shaping, and the fringed edging can easily be changed to a ruffle, or left plain. Try working in a different yarn; for a more delicate effect, try a 4ply yarn in a wool/silk mix for drape, or try a chunky British-breed wool for a winter blanket that looks just as good draped on the back of the sofa as it does around your shoulders.
