My best-selling crochet pattern, as featured on Attic24's blog, this little birdie lends itself to so many uses. Perfect on your Christmas tree or twig tree or as a table decoration for your festive feasts. Use different colours for Easter ornaments, a sweet baby's mobile, bag charm, or even an original toy for your cat!
For an approximately 8cm robin you will need double-knitting (DK) yarn in the following quantities:
- 9m of cream
- 7m of red/orange
- 10m of brown/taupe
(or substitute the colours of your choice!)
You will also need:
- a small amount of stranded embroidery cotton or 4 ply yarn for the face details.
- a small quantity of stuffing material
- 3.5mm and 3mm crochet hooks
- a yarn needle
The pattern is fully illustrated with colour photographs, and is available in UK, US and French crochet versions.
All my patterns come with my full support. If you have any difficulties at all when working the pattern, please e-mail me and I will be happy to provide further diagrams and explanations.
