      Rather than wait until the end you can make some of each color and sew some together before you finish. Then you can see it come to life and be more inspired to complete the project.

        I made all the hexigons and then put them together. It took me a long time to decide on the pattern lol

      This is very inspirational! I'm currently crocheting some hexies in a cotton DK and they are so delicate, I fear it will take me a long time to sew them into a blanket.
