Large Storage Basket

    About

    They wanted a storage basket for the throw pillows on their bed. They found ones in stores but they were quite expensive and not the right colors. I was going through my stash one day and my son-in-law pulled out these colors and said, "Those are the colors for our basket!!" We just invented the pattern as we went along. I will line it with needlepoint fabric in a white fabric sleeve so it remains open and upright.

    Other : I lined the sides of the basket with needlepoint fabric in a white satin fabric sleeve.

    Measurements

    Notes: The basket is about 17" high. It is oval, 22" by 15 1/2"

        I am traveling until Sunday but will post the pattern when I get home. No problem. It isn't complicated. The base is half double crochets and the walls are single crochet. You can adjust it for whatever size you want. I have it written out at home and will hopefully remember to get it up for you after Sunday.

        It actually works up quickly. If you don't mind it "collapsing" when it is empty, you don't even need to line it.
