    About

    I took up the offer of free pattern on love knitting for the fingerless mittens, they looked so cute and a challenge, glad I did as it was a good pattern to work with and very well detailed.
    I changed it slightly to make a smaller size, and I did a twisted rib instead of a normal one. Great pattern recommend to everyone to give it a try even though I did not have the specified yarn it still worked out and fitted perfectly and did not use much yarn so great for using up scraps.

    Pattern

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 3.25mm (US 3) 60cm
    • Circular 4.00mm (US 6) 60cm
    Other : I used two circular needles for both sizes.

    Accessories

    • Stitch Markers
    • Stitch Holder
    • Tapestry Needle
    Other : I knitted them in the round with two circular needles which elimates having to sew them up. I also used yarn bobbins so that the colours would not get tangled up when changing to each colour.
    I knitted the nose of the fox in and embroidered the eyes on a

      Val, I love your mittens, I enjoyed doing the pattern on the bottom of the pinafore I just made. It is good to do something different.

        Thank you, it was a challenge knitting in the round with different colours and a fox pattern as well but I am happy with them.
