Cardigan with Lace Bands

I made this for ...myself as it could have been a little too ambitious.

    About

There are stacks of jerseys and no cardies in my wardrobe. It's from the 'Big and Little Knitting Projects' series, book 57, page 45. I relished the prospect of attempting the picot cast off. The lacy bands looked quite challenging.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 3.25mm (US 3) 35cm
    • Single Point 4.00mm (US 6) 35cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stitch Markers
    • Stitch Holder
    • Buttons
Other : I find placing buttons difficult and stitch markers helped a lot.

    Measurements

Notes: I made the larger size as I am size 14-16 and it fitted nicely. The yarn is pleasant to work. Also very pleased with the colour.

Beautifully done! The color is eye-catching. Is this yarn as soft as it looks?

Yes. It was recommended by the pattern. It's my most favorite cardy but I will try the smaller size next time Helen.
