    About

After meeting my fiancé 's mom and discovering her LOVE of butterflies, I set out on a quest to make her a butterfly blanket. After finding the pattern, I altered it a bit to just use the butterfly part. This project took forever using such tiny needles, but in the end it came out just how I wanted! I knit it with a cotton yarn and joined as I went so the blanket is machine washable and hopefully will last her a lifetime!

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 2.75mm (US 2) 25cm

    Accessories

Other : I learned to cable without a needle for this project so I wouldn't have to lug around a cable needle

Notes: I altered the pattern to make afghan squares using only the butterfly. I made 80 squares to make a full size bed blanket
