    About

This project was a great way to learn some new techniques - intarsia and fairisle - as well as being a fun, colourful gift for my friend's new baby girl. Each square takes between 1 and 2 hours, including weaving in ends, so they are great for completing on train journeys, in front of a film or on a lunch break.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 3.00mm (US 2.5) 30cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stuffing
    Other : Yarn bobbins

    Measurements

Notes: Each square starts with a cast on of 19 stitches, and the squares are quite small. However they are stretchy and the finished blocks were surprisingly large, around 10cm on each edge. I recommend casting off as loosely as possible to match the tension of the other three sides of that square.
