    About

    I wanted to try out a cotton Aran with this pattern and I need an excuse to knit the wee clothes. I decided to knit separate trainers, a cardigan and a dress with my own fancy open work from www.newstitchaday.com which is a great site for stitches etc.

    • Double Point 2.75mm (US 2) 10cm
    • Single Point 2.75mm (US 2) 25cm
    • Single Point 2.25mm (US 1) 25cm
    • Single Point 3.00mm (US 2.5) 25cm

    Other : Row counter which I think is a must with these small pieces of work.

      Finished but will take final photo when the light is better; Paddy came up from Big London and we had to play with his tractor and car!

      Just finishing the cardigan before making up. Have used Julie Williams patterns for cardigan, basic dress and trainers. (Seasonal Sweaters, Seasonal Dresses and Shoes Spplement).

      Decided to use the leftover Millamia cotton from Penny's T-shirt for the bunny's clothing.

      Well, cotton ears flop over! The head seems larger than the usual bunny head, more like the elephant pattern which Julie Williams knits in cotton

      The cotton Aran is less flexible than wool yarn so I had to employ a looser increase stitch; m1 a rather than KLL.
