    About

Something a little bit different, came across this pattern and was taken in by the design and colour. I was unable to find the original wool, so i chose a substitute, The first yarn i had chosen was out of stock, wanting to start the project if choose this wool purely on the colour. The wool is quite rustic though and i think really not suitable for baby wear, a bit rough, too scratchy. Thus I did loose interest in my knitting somewhat on this occasion. expecting things to turn out badly. Though I would definitely make again in a different wool. The only other comments are that this yarn breaks quite easily, also it is a only in a 25 mg ball not 500 gm, so initially i under ordered and had to order more. The pattern does require a moderate level of skill, however the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Once you get onto the main body, it is easy and knits up fairly quickly and no sewing up to do.
