    About

I got this lovely, very good quality frame from https://emmalinebags.com/products/small-sew-in-rectangle-purse-frame and decided to make another "Love" coin purse.
Because the frame is a bit smaller (7.9cm) than stated in pattern i did adjust fabric lining seam sides (see pic), sewed 13mm away from edge instead of 10mm. Then fabric sitted inside very well.

As I used blue King Cole DK yarn I didn't double it up but used 3mm hook and it matched the pattern template size and stitches perfectly. As for crocheting sides together and sewing onto frame I used Rico essentials crochet yarn doubled up and 1.75 mm hook.
It is not one of the easiest projects, but the result is well worth it!
I love the design as it is more convenient and easier to reach for coins, compared to round purses.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 1.75mm
    • Crochet Hook 3.00mm (US 2.5)
Other : Other materials rectangle 7.9 cm purse frame

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stitch Markers
Other : Used 7.9cm (3 1/8" across the base and 1 1/5" high) metal purse frame from Emmaline

    Measurements

Notes: I did adjust fabric sewing to few millimeters, used other size hook, other yarn - see in project story for details.
