    About

Knitting is a form of therapy for me. It helps me through difficult times. I look for increasingly more intricate knits to keep challenging my boundaries and developing my knitting skills. This is my latest project, which I decided to make for myself as an (early) Christmas present. And what a challenge it was, indeed! It took me two months and a lot of trial and error to finish it. This definitely was a lesson in concentration and perseverance.
Knit in Rowan Kid Classic, a quintessentially English yarn, I thought there was no better location to photograph the finished project than the white cliffs of Dover, my favourite view to look forward to whenever I get the chance to travel to England. I made up my own pattern for a matching headband just for the occasion, and the resulting photographs were exactly as I'd imagined them in my head.
I am not easily pleased with my work, but this time I secretly am. :-)
