    I wanted a nice warm winter shawl for my mother, and found this simple yet effective pattern on love knitting. I really like this pattern, as it makes for a relaxing knit, yet looks very sophisticated.

    It turned out quite well after it had been blocked, but when then there was still some size difference between the different wools. Also, weirdly, even though I met the gauge, the shawl turned out WAY larger, and needed more wool for completion, accordingly.
