    About

I became disabled a couple years ago and with my health issues I had a very difficult time keeping my mind organized and functioning efficiently. I started to put my efforts into knitting and crocheting. As I worked, I wanted more challenge than following a pattern gave me. I decided to try creating my own sweater designs. With my neurological disability and slow thinking, I struggled quite a bit. The numerical figures were especially hard for me, even though math had been easy for me before the disability. I had to do the figures and redo the figures several times. I had to pull out my knitting and redo the figures again. It took me 8 times of restating before I successfully completed this sweater, but I ended up with a warm and comfortable garment. I was also able to see great improvement in my thought processes and I have noticed that improvement in all of my life. As a result of my perseverance with designing my mental processing skills have improved.
