    Notes: I used a 4mm hook. I crochet quite loosely so I came out at 28cm square

      For those of us who can only knit I suggest a square in stocking stitch with a border of 4- 5 stitches to prevent curling or even easier: simple garter stitch. 28 cms for those who still think imperial is 11 inches. The difference in amount of yarn required for knitting and crochet similar items is similar, taking into account the more complex stitches will use more yarn. Time permitting, I would like to convert a few crochet patterns into knitting but there are not enough hours in the day. I hope this helps somebody.
