    About

I staerted this quite a while ago in January as a special project and gift for my granddaughter as she and her parents were due to attend a large chiurch gathering in August. I knew it would be hot so I found a lacey pattern and was delighted that the instrucations came with making the doll and its clothes too!
This pattern was difficult as it involved a lot of lace and bobble making and I needed a lot of concentration to make sure the pattern was correct. I used cotton for knitting as I assumed it would breath better in a hot environment but I found it difficult to work with (like knitting string really). It did knit up well although I had to keep an eye on my tention all the time which I dont normally have to do. I love the finished result though, hope you do too.
