    About

I have just finished my Christmas knitting, and was about to start on a shawlette pattern I had saved. However, I discovered that when I had ordered another ball of wool, I had chosen a different but very complimentary shade. That's what happens when you try to order yarn while walking on the treadmill at the gym. So I decided to buy yet another complimentary shade and began my latest project. A bonus was realising that the yarn was in 160g balls. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
Photo 3 taken 12:00 24/12/18, the main photo was taken on 04/01/19, the morning after completion, in a cold and damp Scottish garden.
I decided to put on some stripes between the second and third colours and between the third and fourth colours. I'm really pleased with the final version.
I started with 3 stitches and increased 1 stitch by knitting into the loop before the last stitch on each row. The shawl was knitted in garter stitch and finished off with an i-cord cast off
