    About

I bought the yarn for the Maeve jumper that I planned but decided the pattern was better suited to a fine yarn. Having already knitted one sleeve and liked it, I decided to go with the sleeves and knit a round neck yoke jumper. Using a book I borrowed from a friend (I can't remember it's name but will try to look it up) I cast on at the hem and knitted upwards until I came to the underarm. I then added the sleeves and carried on up to the neck.
I am really pleased with it, although it did grow a little longer when I washed it to block it. I have no idea why but will research it further. I particularly like the pale grey rather than a harsh white with the azure. It knitted up really fast which is great as winter is part way through.
I have knitted a hat to match but it is being blocked and is wet as we speak (write).
It is dry now so I have added a photo.
