    About

I decided my first grandchild needed an Aran knit sweater because he lives in South Buffalo which is predominately Irish. I used a pattern called "Trellis" by Britta Stolfus Rueschhoff which I found on Ravelry. With the leftover yarn ( and some scraps of red) I knit a holiday stocking cap. For the cap, I came up with my own pattern.

    Pattern

    Trellis

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 7.00mm (US 10.75) 40cm

    Accessories

    • Stitch Markers
    • Tapestry Needle
    • Cable Needle
    • Stitch Holder
    • Buttons

    Measurements

Notes: I made the middle size which appears to be about 12 months. My grandson is 6 months old ( but was 10 lbs at birth) and this size is slightly big which is good. The sleeves are rather long but we can roll them up. Hopefully it will fit him through the Winter and Spring.
