    About

    The patterns in this cowl were inspired by a marble floor in Torcello, Venice. I wanted to use Bloomsbury DK Copper and Sand, as they remind me of the stone and terracotta colours of Italy. I also needed a black yarn so I combined them with Tosh DK in colourway Onyx.

      We went to Venice just before lockdown, and did a trip to Torcello. Unfortunately it was closed! So lovely to come across this pattern and the photo of the floor that was your inspiration.
