Toddler Strawberry Hill

    About

    Got the yarn in the July sale.
    First made a lacy garment for a baby with it, but the full impact of the stripes wasted on this.
    This pattern suited the yarn much better. I'm thrilled with the results.
    The bands of colour are quite long in the Harmony DK, so not suited to garments for very small babies.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 4.00mm (US 6) 80cm

    Measurements

    Notes: Made the sleeves longer. Pattern (Strawberry Hill
    by Melissa Matthay) had 3/4 length sleeves.
    Also made button band 2 rows shorter, with slightly fewer stitches to make it more stretchy.
    And made a simpler collar with just 5 rows of garter stitch.
