    I knit this for my little girl this month... I have 3 awesome little kids and I love to knit for them but since we live in a rural area theres no community or knitting groups to chat fiber with. I happen to use cloth diapers and am part of a few cloth diaper groups on facebook and a few members and I found ourselves commenting on eachothers kids wearing knits... so we formed a subgroup of knitters and crocheters. For years I lived a very quiet life with a very small community but I have found so much joy in sharing my craft with others who love it the same. It has made me knit more, learn more, delve deeper. I'm a happier knitter for having people to share it with. And this sweater is proof of that. Knit in a week for our monthly KAL. This month was kids sweaters! And my sweet girl got a rainbow sweater for the spring equinox!

      It's great to hear your story and to see the really creative sweater you made - such colors! Have you discovered Ravelry.com for expanding community? It has made a huge difference in my life - a pen pal, mentors, timely advice, etc. I am a beginner.
