    About

Tiny is named in honour of my husbands childhood Jack Russells and Paddy liked the name of the “new dog”. Paddy has asked his parents for a real dog and I feel somewhat to blame! Which dog will he go for? He nearly took Sausage to theSecret Life of Pets 2 movie, so it could be a dachshund!

    Pattern

    Jack Russell

This pattern can be found here:

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 3.75mm (US 5) 25cm

    Accessories

    • Stitch Markers
    • Stuffing
    • Tapestry Needle
Other : Dk yarn in white, oatmeal, light brown and some 2ply black yarn for the features (no dk) plus green for Tiny’s collar. I employed a bit of colour variation from the pattern just to make Tiny more like his namesake.

    Measurements

    Notes: He’s about 22cms sitting.

Hello Hazel,I have just seen Tiny, I love your Deramore dogs but getting a bit worried you might be getting addicted.lol😊😊As long As you are having fun, and Paddy definitely is, I have never seen a Bassett hound one so can't wait to see yours with the long ears and droopy eyes.😊😊

Thanks Michelle, but you are too late, I’m addicted, sadly to say! The basset hound came up on my iPad in an advert for Deramores but it’s actually not there, it’s in the May issue of Lets Knit magazine. I downloaded it from their site. It’s a smashing Amanda Berry Pattern so should turn out great!

I’m so sorry that you lost Rollie but thanks for liking Tiny. My sister has a Jack Russell too, called Frank - I needle felted a little Frank but he tore it up; they are super feisty but loveable!
