    About

Gran's hats & Momma's requests got me working on headwear ideas - I started this one just before Gran's health began to fail. Needless to say, it was shelved and forgotten, as being with her was more important to me. Later, it was left undone because it brought tears to my eyes remembering that I had lost my dear Gran....... even now, I'm tearing up just trying to explain why it still isn't done & no updated photos were provided for those of you who had requested them..... I will try to get it done for the coming winter & will get the promised pictures posted for you! Better late than never, right?

As soon as I have finished it and have pics, I will upload them! I actually learned about it years ago, but only tried it for the first time last year. Fairly easy, once you get the hang of it, and the results make it worth the effort!

I would love to see a pic of the finished hat. I have yet to try entrelac, it seems a bit tricky.

I will be sure to post more pics when I can! Getting the basics can be tricky at first, however the effort is worth it! It looks complex, but is simple enough once you know what to do!
