Here is the finished project. I had plenty of yarn over once I had finished the jacket, so made the hat as well and devised my own pattern to make bootees to match. I am not a great lover of knitting baby garments so wanted something a bit more challenging than most. This pattern was brilliant. I learnt 4 new techniques: top down construction; weaving in yarn in fair isle; 2 colour ribbing and magic loop. Now I’m all set to go on a full sized garment!
