    About

I make a lot of baby blankets. A lot. I was talking with one of my co-workers and she mentioned that her boys loved their baby blankets when they were little, but they had grown out of them. That's when I decided to make a blanket they could use for years to come. I selected Minions as my subject as it was an image I felt I could duplicate with crochet. I had no pattern. The squares are made of half double crochets. The goggles and mouths were the same. They were made and then attached. The strap goes around the square stitched on giving the opportunity to solidly attach them to the square. The HDC stitch is thick allowing you to anchor the items using yellow yarn so the stitching is not visible on the back of the block.
