    About

I wanted a really, really warm head and neck covering for my daughter who lives in Manhattan. No car, walk everywhere, as New Yorkers do - Brrrr! So I made up this hood/scarf using Cascade Eco Cloud and Cascade Cloud. This is incredibly warm, soft and squishy yarn. The hood part is oversized and the 2x2 rib part extends out in front of your face, blocking wind and snow. The scarf ends are very long and can be wrapped around.

So sorry. There is no written pattern. I just made this up because I couldn't find a hood/scarf pattern that I liked, but then I didn't write anything down. And now it is not in my possession, so I can't reverse engineer either.

Thank you. The appeal is the warmth. If you like this yarn, get it while you can. I believe it has been discontinued by Cascade. It's the warmest yarn I have ever used, and it knits up neat and tidy and does not require blocking.
