Summer shawl

    This is the first time I have knitted a shawl, also first for short rows and this was by far the most expensive yarn I've ever used, but as it was such a special occasion, I wanted to do my best. I was so disappointed when I first finished as it looked so poor. Then I followed all the blogs and advice about blocking which made a huge difference. After all my hard labours, I forgot to take photos, hence the fuzzy ones that I had to get sent to me! The pattern was beautifully clear and easy to follow for this numpty and I'm so thrilled to be proud of the result! The shawl has already been to Glastonbury, is in Ibiza at the moment and has more adventures to come!
