I started this project ages ago and knitted the front before going away and the back whilst on holiday and somehow the tensions were very different which never normally happens to me so I had to totally unravel the front and remake it, which is why I had put it off until recently.
I also altered the pattern slightly to make it a bit longer by adding three cable strips onto the sleeve from the shoulder to neckline instead of casting off. Then joined with ladder sewing stitch, and finished off sides of necklines with two basic crochet rows to give straight edge.
This item is particularly had to stitch together at the end because the edges aren’t straight with the cable effect and it’s hard to sew past the ladder stitches.
