    About

A basic cardigan in bamboo/cotton 4ply (King Cole Bamboo/Cotton 4ply 100g balls 371 metres), in preparation for the warmer days to come.
The original pattern has been changed to increase the length of the body and arms. The body has been worked with no side seams (fronts and back worked in one piece on a circular needle, back and forth). The technic for working one row stripes is as per the pattern - worked on circular needle knit one row in colour B, pull needle through the work starting again on the same side work colour A; then purl colour B, pull needle through work and purl colour A. In addition the neckline has been altered to a natural curved and a small back of neck decrease to add a small touch of tailoring. The edges will be finished with i-cord in order to prevent the fabric curling up. I've not yet decided on the means of fastening the front, but working on this to ensure a neat finish. Finally, extracted this from the UFO (unfinished objects) box, it is now complete.
