    About

I made this cardigan some time ago, but never got around to adding it to my projects. It was in fact only the second garment I made by the all in one method using a circular needle. Unlike my my first cardigan that was top down, this was from the bottom up. I got along fine until i reached the part where the sleeves are attached. As the sleeves were knitted in the round, I found it impossible to stretch the stitches onto the straight cable of my circular needle and eventually ended up with the stitches on seven DPN's. I realize now that I probably should have used the magic loop method with a very long circular. As i knitted up i was eventually able to put the stitches back on to my circular needle. One further disaster as my needle broke whilst i was trying on my cardigan before it was completely finished. However got there in the end and was really pleased with the out come. Lovely pattern, something different, fully fashioned.
