I really wanted to make something when I found out my friend from work was pregnant. I went through all my patterns and remembered I had this one. My mum had some white baby DK wool lying around so it was perfectly gender neutral. This pattern uses knits and purls with a bit of increasing, decreasing and pick ups at the borders but looks really pretty for its overall simplicity. I hope my friend likes it. The baby's not due until September. :-)
