Well Cathy after I sent the email I torn it out and started over again and figured out I missed a row its working out beautiful now. Sorry had a bad week!

Hi Susan, I’m not sure why that’s happening - I did follow the pattern as written. However, I think the steps look better once you have blocked the scarf. Do you think that might solve the problem?
