I needed something nice to do when enjoying the first sunny spring days in a cafe. I wanted it to be something small that does not require bringing much material or scissors with me.
The pattern is easy to follow and has no complicated stiches. As suggested in the pattern, I used a 2.5mm hook for very tight stitches. I altered the pattern by slightly turned the head to the right. I also skipped the details with the eyes and (sorry for the language) butthole, because I like the minimalist way without that.
For the stuffing, I used some leftover fluffy knitted scarf fabric (see picture) to make sure the kitten remains washable.
In total, it took me half a day, though I was sitting until 3am because I was obsessed with finishing it. It turned out way smaller (and cuter) than expected, this is why I took some pictures with my hand for scale.
A ball of 100g Lana Grossa should last for 3 kittens, I used 30g of it for this one.
