    About

The hospice runs a group for children of patients who have passed away due to cancer. The nurse who runs the group asked for blankets for the children to use at their session and to ultimately take home.

This is one I made using a crochet V-stitch. The colours are inspired by Attic24's original granny stripe blanket. I did about 55 of the 60 rows in the pattern to make a 4' square.

    I love it!

This blanket is sure to be a comfort to someone who needs it. Such a good cause and a lovely idea for the children, a true rainbow after the rain.
