    About

I tend to get cold very easily due to MS (multiple sclerosis) and also tire easily. This is easy to throw on over whatever I am wearing as it is soft, warm, and doesn't add any bulk. I also tend to wear either blue or black jeans, so this matches and makes me feel dressy casual should I venture out. Knitting allows me to feel productive on the days I can't do more than just sit on the couch because of the MS. It also keeps my brain cells firing as well as my fingers nimble. Knitting various projects also makes me feel like I have more to contribute not only to my family's lives, but the lives of others. This was my first foray into cabling as well as knitting in the round (collar) and I found this a perfect project. No problems with the pattern and look forward to making it again...maybe in pretty pastels for spring time as yes, MS causes me to become very cold even then!
